A Daeva newly risen, uncertain of the voice that woke them? A mortal with a grudge against the heavens? A Shugo with a ledger and a plan? Atreia has a place for every story, and so do we.
Oath is a found-family roleplay community for Aion. An Asmodian legion of Daevas and mortals, we write the stories the war left untold. We are story-driven, lore-friendly, and above all inclusive: here, everyone is equal and everyone is welcome.
Oath is a story-driven Aion roleplay community built around an Asmodian legion. We are Asmodian-only for now, with Elyos characters possibly joining later as the story grows. We are lore-compliant but not lore-strict: if a character could reasonably exist in Asmodae, we want to meet them.
The Cataclysm split the world and the Tower of Eternity with it. Elysea rose into endless day and Asmodae sank into endless night, and the Abyss opened between them. A thousand years of war followed. Our stories live in the quiet between those battles: in Sanctum's lamplit terraces, in Pandaemonium's cold halls, in the fortresses of the Abyss where enemies are forced to share a fire.
We are a found family first and a roleplay server second. Scenes are consent-based, planned out of character, and open to any pace you like, from a single tavern evening to a months-long arc. Asmodae has its own in-character spaces, the Abyss is there for cross-faction scenes, and a neutral tavern sits where the lines blur.
Our Discord is built around four archives, the Visions of Atreia for screenshots, the Gallery for art, the Chronicles for writing and the Daeva Registry for character profiles, plus a prompt channel that will hand you a scene seed whenever the muse is quiet.
Bathed in perpetual sunlight, Elysea is the home of the Elyos, who hold that they alone kept faith with Aion when the Tower fell. Oath does not accept Elyos characters at present, but Elysea is the other half of every story we tell.
From the floating spires of Sanctum, the Seraphim Lords guide a people who are radiant, devout, and quietly certain of their own righteousness. Our Elysean stories lean into that tension: the pilgrim who doubts, the Daeva who remembers the war differently, the merchant for whom the Light is simply good for business.
Elyos appear as rivals, captives, reluctant allies and the occasional ghost from before the Cataclysm. Staff and guests may play them as NPCs in Abyss scenes. If the legion ever opens its doors to the Light, this page will say so.
Locked beneath a starless sky, Asmodae forged its people hard. The Asmodians survived where nothing should have, and they do not forget who left them to it.
Pandaemonium is a city of iron and ritual, ruled by the Shedim Lords and defended by a people who are fierce, loyal and far warmer than their reputation. Our Asmodian stories are about that warmth under armour: the Daeva who guards a village the Lords forgot, the smith who still believes in the old Tower, the raider who finds an Elyos worth sparing.
Asmodian characters bear the marks of the Dark: clawed hands, a mane, eyes that catch the light. They begin in Ishalgen, Altgard, Morheim, Beluslan or Brusthonin and travel as their story demands.
Our Asmodae channel is the capital and its lands: the Capitol, the Temple of Artisans, the Vifrost Bridge and the taverns of the Kaisinel... sorry, the Marchutan quarter. Scenes set anywhere in Asmodae belong there.
These are the same rules posted in our Discord. Accepting them there verifies you and opens the server.
By the Tower that was and the Tower that will be,
I swear upon the aether in my blood,
To rise, and to lift others as I rise.
A wing for the wingless, a light in the long dark.
I shall not ask which half of the sky you were born beneath,
Nor hold the Cataclysm against the children of it.
Where the Abyss would make us enemies,
I will make us kin.
Truth shall be my compass,
Yet I shall not speak it where it wounds more than it heals,
For silence too can be a mercy.
No secret shall escape my lips,
No name betrayed, no trust undone.
In the quiet between the sieges
I forge the vow that binds me still.
I do not seek the Lords' favour nor the Balaur's fear.
Only the story, and the will to tell it well.
So long as I draw breath,
and the aether lights the sky,
This oath I carry.
This oath, eternal.
